The tiltable screw conveyor can easily roll through doorways.
June 25, 2025
Automated Flexible Conveyor (AFC) has launched the tiltable AFC SpiralFeeder flexible screw conveyor in a compact model.
The new compact screw conveyor enables a single operator to automatically lower the height of the entire unit at the push of a button for easy rolling through standard doorways without requiring any tools, disassembly, or disconnections. When lowered, the innovative conveyor safely and automatically locks into place, and once repositioned, the conveyor may be automatically raised at the push of a button and returned to service.
Developed for those looking for a compact design, the SpiralFeeder flexible screw conveyor can be used for use in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other facilities with tight space constraints. The tiltable conveying system may be quickly moved among multiple processing lines whenever bulk material transfer is required without investing in multiple conveyors. The portable unit automatically transfers powders, pellets, granules, and other dry, bulk solids via enclosed auger screw from its integrated hopper to discharge into a bag filler, hopper, bulk container, or other equipment.
The tilting powder conveyor is designed and manufactured at the company's New Jersey facility. Product testing is offered in the on-site test lab prior to delivery and installation.
